This is the fabric that I would like to introduce today-tan through fabric. Unlike jersey fabric, cotton polyester fabric, and other knitted fabric, I think tan through fabric is born for swimwear.
Tan through fabric is an unique fabric only available from Kiniki (specialized in underwear and swimwear for over 40 years). It is manufactured using state of the art CAD technology creating millions of small square and diamond shaped apertures that allow up to 80% of the suns ultra-violet tanning rays to pass through. It allows the wearer to maximize their Vitamin D which is vital to maintain strong, healthy bones, teeth and muscles. Holes in fabric isn’t exactly rocket science, with holes comes transparency and this is where the magic happens. To counter the transparency, Kiniki designed special prints that confuse the eye and camouflage the skin beneath making any transparency issues melt away like butter in the sunshine you will be lying in.
Although tan through swimsuit may sound like an attractive idea to many people looking to get a tan in the summer, the fact that it lets through 80 percent of sunlight should be the worrying factor. To ensure a healthier tan, we recommend you apply a sun protection cream underneath your tan through swimsuit-of the same factor that you would normally use on your exposed skin. Remember – moderation is key to a safer sun tan.
